Landscaping

The Board of Trustees of Chippewa Hills Homeowners Association has appointed a Landscape
Committee (LC) with the following responsibilities:

Manage our landscape maintenance contractor(s), including defining scope of contract, seeking competitive bids, recommending contractor to be awarded our contract, and managing the performance of the contractor.
Manage our snow removal contractor(s), including defining scope of contract, seeking competitive bids, recommending contractor to be awarded our contract, and managing the performance of the contractor.
Approve or disapprove all proposed alterations, modifications, or changes in any way to the landscape of each individual home before any landscaping changes are made to that home.
Develop a long-range landscape plan for the common elements of Chippewa Hills, including our lake area, along with long-range projected costs.

The LC, a committee composed of three members, seeks to preserve and enhance Chippewa Hills green space and common areas while encouraging residents to continue the enhancement of their personal landscapes. The LC reviews and approves or disapproves homeowners' applications for exterior landscaping changes and certain matters related to outdoor decor. The LC is also responsible for investigating possible violations of the landscaping design guidelines and standards and for recommending corrective actions to the Board of Trustees.
